EAGLE GLEN HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION

Eagle Glen is a subdivision located at the corner of SR 220 and SR209 in Middleburg, Florida. This location is close to schools, perfect for shopping and a variety of other conviences. With 63 residential dwelling priced in the $100's Eagle Glen reached it's full capacity late in 1999. The Association's dues at present are at an all time low of $25.00 per household per year and changes are in the works to increase this amount ($75 to $90).

Due to the misguided judgement of the developer, the Residents at Eagle Glen inherited only 1 (one) common area, and that was the retention pond. Heated debates have occured on numerous ocassions as to the amount of monies to be extended to the up-keep up this common area. To date this issue is still unresolved. One resident (pond dweller) claims that a civil suit will be brought against the Association if the area surrounding the pond is not fully landscaped and sprinklers systems installed. With Christmas coming...We could use a new SUIT.

The Pond...another VIEW

This view is from the other cul-de-sac looking back. Usually there are 4 or 5 ducks swimming around or lazely sunning themselves on the banks. The Board has recently voted and approved the addition of CARP fish to the pond to help with maintaining the natural balance needed to keep a weed free environment. With this approval, the additional expenses of posting signs for notifying the public "NO FISHING"
